Kind Humans!
Finn here, again.
As you know, I was all ready for my blessing at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach yesterday for the Feast of St. Francis.
As I mentioned yesterday, it’s one of my favorite holidays — but I just couldn’t focus! Turns out, someone (ahem… Mr. Donald) put my FAVORITE FRISBEE in the car, and I got a little too distracted.
Don’t worry though, Fr. Steve still gave me a SPECIAL BLESSING & now I’m ready for another year of chasing frisbees and spreading love.
Big LOVE & THANKS to Fr. Steve, all the wonderful people of OLQA, my mom Cassidy (and I guess, my dad, Mr. Donald); and, of course, the coolest holy dude ever — ST FRANCIS — for always watching out for us animals & all beings.
(If you’d like to check out a scrapbook from my FAVORITE DAY ever, scroll down, friends.)
My Auntie Julia told me The Prayer of St Francis is her favorite prayer, so I wanted to share it with you all.
It’s A HEALING PRAYER, and you don’t have to be Catholic to appreciate it! I love this prayer so much.
The Prayer of St Francis

Lord make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is discord, unity
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is error, truth.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is sadness, joy.
Where there is darkness, light.
Oh divine master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life
